I have bound a tipTip instance to an INPUT element (on focus)

How can I then remove tipTip from that element?

Great plugin by the way....

    answered my own question. for some reason el.unbind() isn't liked, but using el.unbind('event') does work.

    The unbind('event') did not work for me. Any other options ??

    you need to unbind the actual event that is used in tipTip. the default is hover but it can also be set with activation:"click" parameter on instantiation. So to remove the tipTip default $(".myElement").unbind("hover");

    Don't use $(".myElement").unbind() b/c it will unbind everything for that element. The question was unbind tipTip. So it if was bound on hover, be specific and unbind on hover.
