Hey all,

Great plugin.

Anyone know how to disable the close/remove 'x' on each element once added to input field? (idea bing that a user cannot remove a tag that has been added).

Thanks in advanced.

    1) selectionRemoved:

I would look into the option callback selectionRemoved. But I'm not sure whether that callback Adds your custom methods on remove, or whether it replaces the built in method that actually removes the element. If the callback replaces the built in behavior, then you are set.

    2) custom wrap Drew's code with an object literal, then customize with jQuery Events
If you do that, then when Drew's code gets updated to a new version, your inline changes won't need to be merged. This approach will take longer, but has benefits of keeping drew's code untouched.

    CSS Approach:

This approach may be considered a hack, but you can always hide those close buttons with CSS. However, that will not stop a user from hitting the backspace key. So that approach is not so great.
