I've added two new optional parameters to the plugin: queryParamsStart: "?" and queryParamVal: "=".

Following that, I modified the line #211 by using those new parameters:
"$.getJSON(req_string+opts.queryParamsStart+opts.queryParam+opts.queryParamValSign+encodeURIComponent(string)+limit+opts.extraParams, function(data){..."

Cause: I was needing to use this plugin in Drupal, as you might know, in Drupal, each param should be part of the URL, so I'm now able to call the plugin in this way:
{ queryParamsStart: "", queryParamValSign: "", queryParam: "/",,
}

Please consider to implement these small changes in this wonderfull plugin.

Thanks by share it!
