Multiple TipTip tooltips with different styles

I'm trying to use TipTip to style the tooltips on my website, and I would like to apply one of two different styles, depending on the scope in which the tiptip class is used, both of which are to appear on the same page. My HTML is:

<span class="someClass tiptip", title="Some tooltip text">
  ....
</span>

<span class"someOtherClass tiptip", title="Some other tooltip text">
  ....
</span>

and I'm styling the tooltip using the CSS selectors as described on the website:

#tiptip_content { ... }
#tiptip_holder { ... }

but I can't figure out how to namespace the CSS so that the two different styles will be applied separately - one always seems to override the other. Is it possible to style two different tooltips, and if so, how should I do it?
