Differentiate between blank entry and no result
Hi
Is there a way of differentiating between a null return (user didn't bother to enter anything) and a "result not listed" (user tried to enter something but it's not in the list).
If I'm just checking the as_result both situations above would return the same value - for example, how would I use a checkform function to validate the form and progress if something has been entered or loop back if nothing has been entered?
I guess this ties in with my other question below re return the value of the entered item as well as the value.
Again thanks in advance
Chris
